After nearly 25 years in the travel industry, I have sent clients to nearly every corner of the globe, but in the last five years, my niche has really become personalized travel itineraries throughout Europe. I love the intense detail required for an amazing European vacation. I also have a special interest in group travel and Latin/Central America.
I prefer to offer my clients the time they need to be comfortable and happy with their travel investments and I promise to plan your trip as if it were my own. I cover all aspects of your trip, including your itinerary once you’ve reached your destination and want you to be as involved in the planning process as you want to be: whether that means you take a totally hands off approach and I plan it all, or if you want to do your own research and make suggestions: I am flexible!
Do you dream of adventuring the forests of Costa Rica or scuba diving in Belize? Or does wandering through a German Christmas market sound more your style? What about visiting important places in World War 2 history, like the beaches of Normandy? Whatever adventure awaits you, let me be your guide.

It’s been a decade since I last visited Costa Rica, and I am long overdue to go back for my next adventure. I’ll admit, I didn’t know much about the country when I arrived, but almost immediately fell in love with the people. They are so proud of their culture and downright some of the nicest people on the planet.
Costa Rica offered a bit of serenity in its gorgeous scenery in between adventures. Even though I got incredibly seasick on our catamaran sail and it rained nearly the whole trip, neither setback put a dent in my happiness. The mountains have a fog that clings to them and they seem to just fall into the ocean waters.
We visited the many resorts in Guanacaste Province and spent three days in its most popular city, Liberia. We filled those days with on-the-go adventures like zip lining, river rafting, and taking mud baths. We ventured to Costa Rica’s most well known volcano, Arenal, a place I wish we could have spent more time. We even stayed in a treehouse! There are animals everywhere and it isn’t uncommon to see monkeys in the trees.
We went to the coastal town of Tamarindo, a smaller village filled with small gift shops and food stalls that reminded me of food trucks. I ate a wonderful snack that I can’t recall the name of and can’t only describe as a cross between a burrito and a tamale. It was in a husk, really spicy, and downright delicious!
You know what else is out of this world in Costa Rica? THE COFFEE. Wild cocoa beans abound, you eat a few of those and you are seriously hyped up. We spent a final day in the capital city of San Jose, which attracts city-lovers, before coming home.
I wholeheartedly recommend Costa Rica for an active adventure.
