Celebrate your birthday chasing the dreams of western films. Head to Tucson, Arizona and dig for gold or visit an amusement park. Visit the legendary O.K. Corral and explore the area where one of history’s most infamous cowboy gunfights erupted. Head to Monument Valley on the Colorado Plateau and see where John Wayne filmed his now-classic Western films. Travel further into Colorado for the Durango Silverton narrow gauge train. 

What about an African safari? Camp in the wonder of nature preserves, or, if that seems a little too adventurous for you, consider “glamping” (glamorous camping, i.e. mattresses and semi-indoor amenities) or a simple hotel stay.
